Well, this morning’s keynote, as expected, focused attention on the whole concept of services – especially as it applies to the cloud concept. Very interesting, and in my mind, opens the door to making advanced services available to Windows users via subscription based access. More functionality moving to services that can be utilized in both the operating system and custom business apps.
We’ll see where this idea goes throughout the week. I’m in a CRM session now – and the talk with CRM is using it’s platform to develop other apps. I’ll let you know where this leads as well.
