I am very excited to see that Live Essentials is out of beta and I just updated my laptop. It looks very good so far, although I haven’t tried everything yet. The Live Synch (Live Mesh) is working well – and I’m glad to see remnants of Mesh around in some of the messages – I sort of liked the name “Mesh” as I think it described the concept of sharing between multiple devices pretty well.
Movie Maker and Photo Gallery seem pretty much as they were in the final beta. I notice a few new features that I hadn’t seen before – like an easy way to take a snapshot from a frame in a Movie Maker project. Performance seems a bit better, which is always nice.
