Tomorrow is the start of DevConnections. I’m looking forward to some time away, and some time to take a step back and think about the bigger picture. My daily routine tends to not allow thinking about things beyond my daily tasks. These conferences give me an opportunity to see new technologies, meet some of my peers, and maybe learn how others are solving some of the same problems I’m faced with. I’ll try to report daily on what I’ve seen and heard and hopefully learned.
Some of the things I’m hoping to learn about include the newest developments in asp.net (including WebMatrix – which I find very interesting), some of the advancements in vb.net and C# (like async processing), and Visual Studio 2010 features.
I’ll let you know what I learn.
