So, it’s 2019. Feels pretty much the same as last year to me, but there is a difference – if only in the mind. It represents a new start, a new beginning, a new chance to think about life and family and future. It’s a time to remember that we can’t change the past, but we can, at least, influence the future.

As I sit on my porch, with my coffee, I’m thinking about what I want to accomplish this year – with my family, my career, my photography. I hope I can be more encouraging to my family. I also hope I be more of a contributor to my company’s success. And, lastly, I’m hoping to do more sports photography this year…
Sometimes things seem to be out of our control – and it may seem like we have no control at times – but I want to encourage you to do what you can to make your home, your work, your community a better place, and try to enjoy your work! Work is a good thing. It’s good for us to be productive and fruitful in our lives. Don’t live a static, stagnant life. Keep learning, growing and contributing – and Happy New Year!
